Why us?

In our pursuit to unveil the captivating narrative of Jewish Vienna, we not only share the stories of notable Jewish personalities who have shaped the development of this Central European metropolis but also celebrate the contemporary Jewish life that is ever-evolving. We take pride in showcasing over 28 kosher dining establishments, vibrant Jewish-owned businesses, and various youth organizations that are dedicated to fostering the next generation of Jewish leaders and preserving their rich heritage.
We believe that the key to unlocking the true essence of Jewish Austria lies in the personal connections and emotional experiences that are created during our tours. Our team of knowledgeable and passionate guides, drawn from the local Jewish community, serves as the bridge between the past and the present, weaving together the stories of Jewish Austria with the contemporary experiences of young Jewish adults.
As a result of the past, that 65.000 Jews in Austria were killed in the Holocaust, we see it as our duty to commemorate the victims and tell the individual stories of these personalities which are unable to do it by themselves.
